She discovered that the top government scientists admit to colleagues that vaccines are contaminated with viruses from chickens, humans and monkeys, with RNA and DNA fragments, with 'cellular degradation products', and possibly 'oncogenes and prions.' They report alarmingly that it is impossible to commercially purify vaccines. They express great concerns, but the public is not told despite the possible consequences for long-term public health. A recent US court decision has linked autism with vaccine contamination. The author cites her sources by name - and gives references and Internet links where they are available. I She reveals evidence that the World Health Organisation has discovered the MMR vaccine is contaminated with chicken leukosis virus, but has decided not to tell the public of this, and to continue to make the vaccine with eggs from contaminated chickens. She reports US biowarfare researchers tried to create new agents to destroy our immune systems - and worked on a bacterium to make it a hospital superbug. Did they manage to create HIV? A senior professor told her that the vaccine program was so contaminated that HIV might well have spread though it without any need for military intervention. She set out to find the evidence to resolve this, and to learn how HIV apparently spread so far and fast. She needed to know more about this virus so went to the foundation research widely held today to have found HIV and proved it caused AIDS. She was then rocked to discover that this same research was investigated for scientific fraud for a five year period by powerful US scientific institutions and by Congress,. Why is this not widely known? She found their reports and discovered they found major errors in this research, some so serious that these made it impossible to repeat these experiments and thus to verify them! She reveals the evidence unearthed - reproducing key documents so the reader can assess them for themselves. This is explosive material. In the final part of this book the author reports recent research that is revolutionising biology and offering much hope for the future. These new developments shed new light on the relationships between our cells and viruses. They are not necessarily enemies. Readers may find these new developments radically change the ideas they have held about viruses since childhood. This book has over 500 references and includes several documents unearthed under Freedom of Information legislation. `It has a scientific glossary and is fully indexed..

This book goes deep into the historical record to uncover one of the greatest frauds of the 20th century. Viruses are not what people think they are. They are a smokescreen for toxicity. Roberts goes through the history of polio, hiv and more to uncover the way government and industry science work together to confuse the public and even most scientists and science students.

She cites her work extensively. Everything she discusses is from the legit historical record. She pours through the letters, the rough drafts, the memos, the back pages of old newspapers, etc. She uncovers the compromises, the guesses, the outright lies.

You will never see viruses, disease or government science the same after reading this book. And your health will benefit for it.

Do you wish you lived in Paris?

If you are curious about what it would be like to live in Paris, this is a book for you. It gives you a realistic picture of some of the hurdles you will need to deal with if you move from the U.S. to France. You will probably not end up with a large group of French friends, especially if you are not fluent in French. But Paris can be a charming, exciting, and addictive place to live.

It's nearly complete but not quite

There are a great amount of techniques in this book. There are even some rare joint lock techniques I hadn't seen anywhere else; however, they are not well organized. The techniques are scattered all over the place and one must hunt each one down through the pages in order to find them. If the material was separeted into more specific sections, I would have given it five stars. I don't think that the guide is incomplete as far as the techniques it contains but in its organization.

Not only the presentation of the art is not consistent, but also the techniques are not well-designed. About a half of the techniques are not actually usable in real defending purposes. The problem is that they will make you lose balance when using them. I bet the author has not tested those skills he explained yet. The author tried to be different from Bruce Lee, but that also introduced many difficulties. And that is absolutely not necessary!
The history presented by Jiro Shiroma is actually wrong. It was a Chinese weapon -- a real weapon used by martial artists during the Song Dynasty in China -- A.D. 960+. This is the earliest period when people actually used it as weapon. Nunchaku is an Okinawan name of the same thing invented by Chinese, whose name was Da Sau Zu meaning "swinging sticks."
Before Bruce Lee popularized on the films such a powerful weapon, the so-called Japanese Nunchaku, as weapon, did not exist at all. After his movies, Japanese started "reinventing" nunchaku for their own martial arts, especially Ninjutsu. However, today's Ninjas are only useful in movies! Bruce Lee's nunchaku was actually an Indian farming tool, introduced to him by his student Dan Inosanto. Bruce Lee simply called it "double sticks."
I learned "double sticks" from the book written and drawn by Bruce Lee, and it was well-designed, poweful, straightforward, and economical. The techniques are very easy to follow and no redundency at all! Actually, I learned it from the pictures only, but after that I started reading the descriptions. It helped me to understand the philosophy of his ideas about the art. His method are beautiful!
I think the best way to describe it is that it's an American-martial-art weapon invented by a Chinese American -- Bruse Lee. The origin of the sticks is India, or China as you please, and the techniques are the invention of Bruce Lee.
If you want to learn double sticks as a useful martial art, watch Bruce Lee's movies and you will learn most of the skills actually required for defending or fighting

this book is very clearly written and i could not think of any one better then jiro shiroma the best when it comes to nunchaku thats why i give it a 5 out of 5 stars because it has so many techniques. i cant stress it enough about how great this book is.

Morgan was a lawyer who became enthralled with the Iroquois as a grown man, as did many other men at the time, when Indians were seen as noble savages. (They would recite Hiawatha at meetings, for example.) He spent as much time as he could with Iroquois elders reconstructing their way of life. He was the first to record and undestand their kinship as part of their matrilineal descent groups or clans which would lead him to research for the Smithsonian on Native American kinship.Systems of consanguinity and affinity of the human family. His book on material culture served as a model for ethnography,Lewis H. Morgan on Iroquois Material Culture but his undestanding of social and political organization was even more important. His experience, plus the influence of Darwin, would lead him to construct the evolution of human society.Ancient society: or, Researches in the lines of human progress from savagery, through barbarism to civilization [ 1877? ] As the title suggsts, Morgan posed three major stages of social evolution, with three divisons in each stage. Savages were food collectors; barbarians were food producers, with civilization culminating in the Western World.
With his experience and all his writing, Morgan became regarded as the founding father of American anthropology, but lacking any students he is considered as an intellectual founder rather than the founder of the discipline, an honor that goes to Franz Boas.A Franz Boas Reader: The Shaping of American Anthropology, 1883-1911 (Midway Reprint)

Foundation for Study of the Iroquois League

I read this book for my Classic Ethnographies seminar at school. It is by far one of the most interesting ethnographies I have had the pleasure of reading. It combines ethnography with history and gives the reader a good overall view of the Iroquois. I can't recommend this book enough. If you only read one book on the Iroquois, this should be that book!
